Structure

Just two cabinets form the basis of unimes.ME, providing a simple and flex­ible system. The profiles are fitted with unique corner pieces offe­ring maximum rigidity.

Part­it­ions

Inte­rnal metallic and non metallic part­it­ions up to form 4b provide maximum prot­ection against direct contact with any live parts. The form 4b part­ition also limits contact with solid bodies.

Ingress prot­ection

Distrib­ution boards must be able to operate reli­ably for many years under difficult envi­ronme­ntal cond­it­ions. With an IP54 rating, unimes.ME provides comp­lete safety from foreign solid bodies or liquids.

Busbar system

Busbars are encl­osed in fully part­it­i­oned comp­artments. They consist of one or more copper bars per phase held by funct­i­onal busbar supp­orts. The main busbars are mounted horizontally while the distrib­ution busbars are mounted vert­ic­ally to enable front and rear access to the busbars.

Busbar support

The unimes.ME is fitted with type tested busbar supp­orts suit­able for copper bars. Together, they support a current of up to 2500A and a short-circuit current of 50kA (3sec). The optimum arran­gement of the busbars reduces power diss­ipation and increases the safety of instal­lat­ions.

Busbar coup­ling

The ample space in the main busbar chamber provides easy and safe coup­ling between the diffe­rent encl­os­ures. This reduces the assembly time and also increases the safety of operation.

Design-veri­fied acco­rding to inte­rn­at­ional standard for perfo­rmance and safety IEC 61439-1 and 2 by a third party cert­ific­ation organ­iz­ation to ensure maximum perso­nnel and system safety.
